The original Call of Duty: Black Ops incredibly generated more than a billion dollars in sales after a little over a month on store shelves. Another installment to the wildly popular Call of Duty storylines was inevitable, and thus after rampant speculation, Activision has released the trailer to Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. This Treyarch-developed sequel seems to blend the Black Ops retrospective storytelling with the Modern Warfare canon as it follows two different protagonists (father and son) in two separate story arcs — one through the Cold War in the 1980s, and another through war-torn Los Angeles in the year 2025. The narrator in the trailer is one Frank Woods, the surviving protagonist from the first Black Ops. Expect Black Ops 2 to land on November 12, just in time for the holidays. Think it has the legs to put up a billion dollars in just pre-order sales?
